How the math is done

Every odds number on these pages comes from the evaluator that decides real showdowns in FizzPoker — the same code, checked against a brute-force reference in the game’s test suite. When few cards are left to come, the tools count every possible run-out exactly. When many are (before the flop, or against a whole range), they deal a large, seeded sample of boards and say so next to the result.

Reference charts, like the equity of all 169 starting hands, were generated the same way ahead of time: 100,000 simulated deals for every hand at every table size from two to nine players.

Questions people ask

Are these poker tools free?

Yes. Every calculator and chart on FizzPoker is free, runs in your browser and needs no account or download.

How accurate are the odds calculators?

They use the same hand evaluator that settles showdowns in the FizzPoker game. With the flop or turn out, every possible run-out is counted exactly; before the flop, and against ranges or random hands, they deal tens of thousands of simulated boards, which is accurate to a fraction of a percent.

Can I use poker calculators while playing online?

Most real-money poker sites ban real-time assistance tools, so check your site’s rules. On FizzPoker, games are play-money only and the post-game review runs after the hand, never during play — use the calculators to study between sessions.
